On Wednesday, July 18 at noon, come join elected officials, working women, mothers, doctors, nurses, teachers, community organizations, labor, restaurant, direct care, retail, business, early childhood and senior groups to show the impact that the NYC Paid Sick Leave bill would have on women throughout the five boroughs.

Women for Paid Sick Days Rally

Wednesday, July 18th, 2012
From 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM
On the steps of City Hall

RSVP Today!

Over 1.5 million workers in New York City do not get a single paid sick day to care for themselves or a sick child.  Many workers are forced to go to work sick because they risk losing their jobs. Others are forced to send their children to school, potentially infecting other students, because they simply cannot afford either childcare or to lose a day’s pay.

Come stand up for working women throughout New York City and remind our elected officials why this is an open-and-shut public health issue.  We hope you can make it!

Are you working on July 18 but still want to show your support?  Sign the petition urging Speaker Quinn to bring the Paid Sick Days bill up for a vote in the City Council.

Thanks for being advocates on behalf of your patients!
