Keep up to date with all of the medical school student societies who work with CIR on events, issue advocacy and helping to prepare medical students for the next stage of their career -- residency!

Medical Student Scholarships

SOMA and the Student Doctor Network are proud to offer the Community & Preventive Medicine scholarship, which is due April 22nd, 2010. The scholarship is for students showing commitment to service and improvement in selected areas. One student will be awarded this $1000 scholarship.

The Ed & Melissa Medically Underserved scholarship is also due May 31st, 2010. At least one award of up to $1000 will be provided to help offset the costs of a third or fourth year student completing an elective rotation in an underserved area.  Please submit questions and applications to PublicHealth@studentdo.com.
