UNM Contract Ratified!

CIR members at UNM negotiated an impressive second contract that includes pay increases, reimbursement of Step 3 fees, cost containment on the health insurance, and an increase in the patient care fund, bringing it to $75,000. The residents voted unanimously on June 18 to ratify the two-year contract.

First and second year physicians will receive raises of 4.1% and 4.8, respectively, and residents in other years will see increases that range from 2.2 to 2.6%. The contract includes a wage reopener in Spring 2010.
