As this pandemic continues to spread, housing for healthcare workers living with high-risk individuals or who are potentially contagious is becoming a top priority. CIR/SEIU is working closely with elected officials in both California and New York to procure free hotel rooms in partnership with city officials; we will report on those changes regularly. New York

NYC Health+Hospitals is offering FREE hotel rooms for its employees during the COVID-19 crisis. Information on eligibility, reservations, and more can be found here.

(Non H+H employees) The City of New York, is providing FREE hotel rooms for healthcare providers at risk for being exposed to COVID-19 and may not be able to temporarily live at home in order to minimize exposure.  For more information and to make reservations, click here. 

Four Seasons New York is providing free hotel rooms for medical personnel, maximum stay is 25 days, click here for details and access to information for availability.

IGH hotels within 5-10 miles of CIR hospitals are offering discounted rates for healthcare providers. Please use their corporate ID for discounted rates. Click here for list of hotels.

California

CIR was able to work with the Governor’s office to secure FREE hotel rooms if you need a space to quarantine alone. This is in major cities and we will work to expand this out.
